Nowadays, tire manufacturing is developing more fast, which makes tire enterprises meet much more fierce competitions,and their profit margins are shrinking. Thus tremendous pressure on the survival and future development of tire corporate makes the situation of tire enterprises worse. Hence tire companies urgently need to find a method of reducing tire manufacturing costs. Vulcanization is the most important process of tire production, whose production scheduling will directly affect the merits of the progress and effectiveness of the entire production workshop. So this article focuses on the production scheduling problems of vulcanization workshop.Firstly, this paper analyzes something including definitions, characteristics and classifications of production scheduling from books and readings,and discusses outlines existing methods of production scheduling as well as the background and significance of in the Chapter one.It also outlines the basic concepts of game theory and its research status including development prospects in the production scheduling via studying game theory. And the key work and content is also described in details.Secondly, according to the actual production environments of vulcanization workshop, the actual production constraints and production targets are considered for multi-object scheduling problems for vulcanization workshop. Cooperative game theory is applied into building a model based on cost targets for the needs of customers.Thirdly, a adaptive genetic algorithm is designed to the scheduling model already constructed above. Through the results from simulation of this algorithm based on examples, the scheduling model bases on cooperative game for the vulcanization workshop is proved to indeed lower customer costs, which can not only meet the customers’ needs,but also prove to verify the rationality and feasibility of the model.Finally, according to the allocation methods of cost-sharing problems in cooperative game theory, the improved Shapley value is employed to share the profits among the customers which refers to the contribution of them. Results of the calculation can satisfy customers and stabilize the cooperative alliance.In this paper, combined with the cooperative game theory, a production scheduling model is constructed to solve the problems of production scheduling for the vulcanizing workshop,which is to meet the demand of customers on cost. These theory and method provide a new way for the multi-objective problems to solve the production scheduling problems,which not only contribute to the development of production scheduling theory, but also help to broaden the application field of production. Hence these theory and method have important practical significance and positive theoretical significance.
