Cluster Analysis And Influencing Factors Of CDM Projects In Provinces And Cities Of China

With the global warming effects of carbon dioxide, a page of reducing greenhouse gas emissions has been put on the agenda for all the governments. Since the clean developmen t mechanism(CDM) launched, it runs well in developing countries. Until now, China has i mplemented the mechanism for nearly ten years. Relevant papers had been published in bo th at home and abroad. This paper summarizes the causes, backgrounds and purposes of cle an development mechanism. Then researching on the related meeting of "United Nations F ramework Convention on climate change" in particularly. At the same time, the paper analy zes the basic rules, participation qualifications, project eligibility criteria, the participating organizations and project operation procedures about international clean development mec hanism. After that the thesis introduces current situation of China’s carbon market. Then st udy development status of 9 kinds of CDM project emission reduction type in our country at present. By collecting and making comparison of the relevant data from 2005 to 2014, it concludes that the new energy projects accounted for the largest proportion of clean develo pment mechanism in China, and other projects quantity is less, this paper also analyzes the reasons of that. Further more the paper analysis the development status of regional CDM p roject in China, selects ten factors influencing the development of CDM, and standardizes t he data of 30 provinces. Then establishing the matrix to calculate the covariance and varian ce contribution rate by using the statistical software. The paper makes it clear about CDM projects affecting regional distribution factor. By calculating the scores of these provinces a nd cities, the paper obtains the development facts of CDM projects in these provinces, and through cluster analysis to classify all the provinces and cities. Finally, it analysis the impa ct of the clean development mechanism and carbon trading markets to our country. Combin ing the domestic and foreign situation, the paper gives suggestions about CDM developme nt in the future of China.
