Pharmaceutical industry chemical synthesis products category has caused serious environmental pollution problems, especially in the atmosphere. Envioronmental management of atmospheric pollution caused by this industry mainly references to the standard “Integrated emission standard of air pollutants” and “Emission standards for odor pollutants”. However, neither of the aforementioned two standards reflected the characteristic pollutants released from this industry. So the standard for this industry’s air pollutants is needed to be established. This study proposes scientific standard system of discharge standard of air pollutants for chemical synthesis pharmaceutical industryBased on the systematic study on the standards and technical specifications requirements for the chemical synthesis pharmaceutical industry in domestic and foreign, according to the actual production process and control technology of waste gas, combined with monitoring results, the main source and characteristics of waste gas released from pharmaceutical industry chemical synthesis products category was analyzed in this paper. “Emission standard of air pollutants from pharmaceutical industry chemical synthesis products category” was drafted, it indicated that the specific control index are as follows: particulate matter, hydrogen chloride, ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde, dichloromethane, chloroform, methanol, ethyl acetate, acetone, acetonitrile, BTEX, VOCs, odor concentration, other pollutants, dioxin. Emission concentration limits were provided for these indexs in the standard, and the environmental benefits, economic and technical was analysed. Existing sources, new source, sepecial emission limits, fugitive emission limits were included in the standard:particulate matter(20mg/m3, 15mg/m3, 10mg/m3, —), hydrogen chloride(20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 5mg/m3, 0.15mg/m3), ammonia(20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 5mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3), benzene(2.0mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3, 0.5mg/m3, 0.10mg/m3), formaldehyde(2.0mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3, 0.5mg/m3, 0.20mg/m3), dichloromethane(40mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3), chloroform(20mg/m3, 10mg/m3 、 5mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3), methanol(40mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 2.0mg/m3), ethyl acetate(60mg/m3, 40mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 2.0mg/m3), acetone(60mg/m3, 40mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 2.0mg/m3), acetonitrile(40mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 2.0mg/m3), BTEX(20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, 5mg/m3, 2.0mg/m3), VOCs(200mg/m3, 150mg/m3, 100mg/m3, —), odor concentration(1000 mg/m3, 800 mg/m3, 500 mg/m3, 20 mg/m3), other pollutants class A(2.0mg/m3, 1.0mg/m3, 0.5mg/m3, —), other pollutants class B(30mg/m3, 20mg/m3, 10mg/m3, —), dioxin(0.1mg/m3, 0.1mg/m3, 0.1mg/m3, —).
