Textile coating is a kind of processing technology developed in the textile finishing.In recent years,coating enterprises of Shengze Town develop rapidly,while the exhaust gas brings serious environmental problems.But there are no specific air pollutant emission standards for the textile coating industry in China and Jiangsu Province,which brought serious constraints for the industry's emissions regulation.So it is great significance to study a new industry air pollutant emission standard for the textile coatings industry in Shengze Town.Through data collection,field research and emission monitoring of typical enterprise,the production process,characteristics of pollutant production and treatment methods of exhaust gas are summarized.Textile coating production process is divided into wet and dry coating;the main air pollutant is VOCs,dimethyl formamide(DMF),toluene,butanone,ethyl acetate,benzene series and other organic waste gas.The emission concentrations of these pollutants were low after treatment,so enterprises should be encouraged to install waste gas treatment facilities or to upgrading and reconstruction.The main treatment methods of waste gas are active carbon adsorption,absorption,catalyzed oxidation and burning,biological treatment,electrostatic recovery,etc.On the basis of the analysis for the pollutant production in textile coating industry and the pollution control technology,reference to other relevant standards at home and abroad,combined with calculating of the multimedia environmental goals(MEG),the upper concentration limits for the pollution emission are confirmed: VOCs 80mg/m~3(the enterprises or production facility which use benzene series,DMF,ethyl acetate and butanone below 90% perform the special emission limit for VOCs of 20 mg/m~3),DMF 20mg/m~3,toluene 20mg/m~3,benzene series 20mg/m~3,butanone 20mg/m~3,ethyl acetate 30mg/m~3.Exhaust barrel height cannot be less than 15 m.The concentration limits for fugitive emission are VOCS 2.0mg/m~3,toluene 2.0mg/m~3,benzene series 2.0mg/m~3,DMF 0.4mg/m~3.The technical and economic analysis for standard implementation shows that the standard is feasible in the technical and economic.DMF& toluene series recycling(water spray and active carbon adsorption)technology can be used to treat the exhaust gas.There are good environmental benefits to implement the standard.
