Inflating volume is one of the important factors that affect the flotation effect, reasonable adjust and control inflating volume is the key technologies to improve the processing power and the index.of the flotation machine. Previous limited to technical, economic and other reasons, inflating volume control is completed by manual operation by experience.This method has lower precision, big intensity of labor, and can not control the flow of air in a timely manner. Rely mainly on vortex flowmeter testing gas flow at present, but it also has limitations:not only has the high cost but also is not suitable for measuring under low Reynolds number condition; is restricted under the condition of high viscosity, low velocity, small diameter.This article in view of the present domestic situation such as flotation aeration process automation degree is low, the air flow test cost is high, the control methods are unreasonable, put forward a novel method of automatic measurement and control technology, combined with a aeration process of a mixed flotation application in yunnan, research and designed the flotation aeration process measurement and control system.This article firstly develop a analyses on the current test method of gas flow rate, gas flow control device.We put forward that using the new type testing instrument--delta as testing instrument of new detection methods, adopting frequency control of motor speed for air compressor and pneumatic control valve for air manifold air flow to control the total flow and pressure of the air.The method according to the actual situation of each measuring point for testing instrument and perform instrument configuration. According to the complexity of the control circuit and its characteristics,we chose reasonable control methods:air manifold control circuit adopts improved PID control algorithm, air main control circuit adopts fuzzy control algorithm.This article adopts the model of distributed control and centralized management of the DCS control system, the lower place machine adopts Siemens S7-300PLC, principal computer adopts industrial computer, using MPI communication between lower place machine and principal computer. This system adopts the STEP7V5.5for application development, and uses kingview v6.53software platform for real-time monitoring.Those have realized inflating volume automatic control and monitoring management of the flotation process,and improved the level of automation and informatization of concentrator...
