Based on the mine hoist system, its vibration behaviour on running and loading is systematically studied in this paper. The main works are summarized as follows:(1) the longitudinal vibration behaviour of the mine hoist system on running;(2) the transverse vibration behaviour of the mine hoist system on running;(3) the longitudinal vibration behaviour of the mine hoist system on loading. When the longitudinal vibration behaviour and the transverse vibration behaviour of the hoist system running are respectively studied, wire rope is regarded as cable with variable length and the container is regarded as the material point fixed on the end of wire rope. On this basis, the longitudinal vibration model and the transverse vibration model of the hoist system on running are respectively established by the Hamilton principle. And the control equation and the boundary conditions are discredited by using Galerkin method. Finally the longitudinal and transverse responses of the mine hoist system are obtained by simulating calculation inputting the S velocity curve parameter. When the longitudinal vibration of the hoist system loading are studied, the wire rope is regarded as cable with invariable length and the container and supplies are regarded as the variable material point fixed on the end of wire rope. Based on the variable mass Hamilton principle, the loading vibration model of the hoist system is established. Then the control equation is solved by using the method of variable separation. Finally the effect of loading method on the vibration characteristics of the system is studied. The analysis results show that the loading flow method of increasing gradually can effectively reduce fluctuation of the vibration displacement and the vibratory tension.
