Rolling force sensor is a wide range of weighing sensor, which installed on both sides of rolling mill and used to measure rolling force in the process of steel rolling mill. Parameters of rolling force is one of the important parameters of rolling mill AGC control system, It has important significance to ensure the safety in production、prevent major accidents of equipment、optimize the rolling schedule、achieve production process automation and optimum control、guarantee steel rolling quality and etc. This subject expect to develope which replace imported rolling force sensor and measurement system.(1) Reference foreign 1750 T range of plate rolling force sensor elastomer, established the elastomer finite element simulation analysis model of plate type rolling force sensor,Combined with sensor work reality,analysis core stress distribution of elastomer,by investigating the patch center line of the patch area, and ensuring the problem of the patch depth of deep hole.(2) Accord to the particularity of the rolling force sensor structure, design a full set of perfect patch process method, including selection of strain gauge、polish method of patch area、fixture design and installation and etc.(3) Develop 16-way rolling force signal measurement system which is matching to plate type rolling force sensor; Designed the PC interface of the measurement system which can be applied to rolling force data real-time display、storage and query of a rolling mill production line.(4) Analyze the major error of rolling force signal measuring system in theory, choosing the method of curve fitting to compensate nonlinear error, using ratio measurement techniques to eliminate the error of bridge voltage fluctuation,using six wire method to eliminate the error of long cable resistance to the system, using digital average filtering algorithm to eliminate the error of circuit noise like white noise、shot noise.(5)Rolling force sensor and the signal measurement system are comprehensively experiment and analysis. The results showed that the major technical indicators of the rolling force sensor is: linearity≤1%FS、repetitive≤0.3%FS、hysteresis≤0.5% FS;Relative error of each channel of measurement system are not more than 0.6%, and reaching the design target.
