Mining production plan is important in the guidance of the mining production, and the rationality of its decision-making is directly related to the sustainable and stable mining production. The complex processes in the mining production containing the restriction of the internal processes as well as the dynamic conditions of the work place and the time and space of unit process. Thus, the mining production plan is a system with great complexicity and difficulty. With the rapid development of information technology, especially of the three-dimensional visualization techniques and its modeling algorithms, the compilation of mining production plan with the three-dimensional visualization technology has been possible. In the environment of the three-dimensional visualization, the spatial distribution and relationship of the underground tunnelling processes is clearly visible. It is clearly visible on the spatial distribution of the engineering.The mining production plan was compiled automatically in this paper based on the summarization of previous experience and the ultiplication of some advanced technologies. The entire compilation contained the stage of basic data preparing, mining plan compiling, connection and optimization and figures and tables outputting, and the key technologies were shown below:(1) In the preparation phase of basic data, including the excavation data, drill data and mining data, the technology of the reconstruction of entity model of roadway and the technology of the automatically updating of orebody model were enphatically studied.(2) In the compilation phase of mining plan, the dynamic programming, optimization and simulation were combined to automatically compile the mining plan. According to the characteristics of sublevel caving, the planning excavation amoun t of ore was calculated from the planning mining amount of powerded iron, and the calculation of necessary ore amount was devided to the calculation of the equipment line of mining, drilling and excavation, and then the lines were connected to obtain each level, each relationship of stope mining, drilling volume and excavation amount, and finally, the solution of the problem, the intermediate result, i.e., Network convergence map were obtained.(3) In the phase of connection and optimization, hu man-computer interaction was ultiplied to adjust the stope bridging plan conveniently and quickly according to the restriction conditions, the compiled stope bridging plan and layout diagram.(4) In the phase of figures and tables outputting, the automatic generation technology of animation was studied, and the animation display further verified the reasonability of the program. Users could output a 3-year mining plan chart, Gantt charts and customizable reports after a satisfactory program was selected.Finally, the compilation of Beiminghe 2015 annual mining production plan is shown in this paper, and the results showed that the system is reliable and efficient, and the technology greatly reduced the complexity of the compilation of the mining production plan.
