Polyoxometalates have been under active investigation owing to the richness in their structural diversity with more oxygen atoms could join in the coordination, nano-sizes, more stable in solution and potential activities as medicines, electhromism, magnetic materials. Vanadium with kinds of oxidation state may lead to the assembly and construction many of sophisticated vanadium organophosphonate clusters such as {VO4},{VO5} and {VO6}. So it is considered ’good temper’ and is meaningful to explore polyoxometalate containing vanadium.(1) In this paper, we choosed different raw vanadium materials with different templet to synthesis three novel compounds, [(V10O20)(PO4)2]·4H2O (1), [V18O42(N3)2(NaO7)2]·24H2O (2) and [V10O28][(Na2(H2O)10)] (3). Compounds 1 and 2 display 3D porous frameworks, while compound 3 exhibits 1D structure.(2) In this paper, we selected appropriate vanadium materials, molybdenum materials or tungsten materials to synthesis series of POMs-based inorganic-organic hybrid compounds: [PMo12V2O42][Cu(phen)2]3·6H2O (4), [PMo8V6O42][Cu(2,2’-bpy)2][Cu(2,2’-bpy)]·4H2O (5), [VW9Co2O30]2[Na(dpdo)(H2O)4Na4(H2O)7]2·dpdo·11H2O (6),[VW9Mn2O30]2[Na(dpdo) (H2O)4Na4(H2O)7]2·dpdo·11H2O (7),[Sm(dpdo)4(H2O)3][PMo12O40]·4H2O (8). The electrochemical properties of compound 4 and the photocatalytic activities for MB degradation under UV light of compound 8 have also been investigated. Compound 4 shows excellent electrocatalysis both to NaNO2 and H2O2, and compound 8 shows good electrocatalysis in MB degradation.(3) In recent time, the design of metal-organic frameworks is an attractive field in assembling MOFs with combining multicarboxylate ligands and N-containing ligand. We use two kinds of multicarboxylate ligands with bpmp (bpmp=N,N’-bis(4-pyridylmethyl) piperazine) to obtain eight novel MOFs:[Mn(H2bta)(bpmp)·2H2O]·bpmp·7H2O (9)、Co(Hbta) (bpmp)]·7H2O (10)、[Zn(Hbta)(bpmp)]·5H2O (11)、[Cd2(H2bta)2(bpmp)2(H2O)2]·8H2O (12)、 [Mn(ndc)(bpmp)·3H2O]·bpmp-2H2O(13)、[Cu2(ndc)2(bpmp)2] (14)、[Co2(Hndc)2(bpmp)2] (15) and[Zn4(ndc)4(bpmp)5] (16). The compounds have been structurally characterized by IR, single-crystal X-ray diffraction and XRPD and the fluorescence properties have been studied.
