In order to prevent the marine biofouling caused enormous economic losses to the marine industry, at the same time to avoid the damage of the marine environment. In recent years at home and abroad to tin-free self-polishing antifouling coatings researches and developments has increased and the beginning of the application. The research and development of low surface energy antifouling paints is one of the important objects.Having a low surface energy properties and self polishing antifouling properties of the resin was synthesized in this research and design. The first synthesis of monomer with low surface energy properties, methyl methacrylate and potassium hydroxide reaction, to obtain potassium methacrylate, then reacted with three fluorine propyl methyl two chlorosilanes, get fluorine silicon alkyl acrylate. Then with a variety of acrylate monomer, polymerization synthesis of fluorine containing silicon ester crosslinking acrylic resin by free radical. Through the FT-IR, GPC, EDS, DSC, TG of structural characterization and properties of fluorine silicon ester crosslinking acrylic resin containing synthesis was determined, and the formula and process of adjustment, the continuous optimization of the structure and performance, the best formulation of synthetic resin and the best synthesis process. The research results show that:the synthesis process, when the total fluorine silicon alkyl acrylate monomer 10%, soft and hard monomer ratio was 1:1, the amount of initiator agent is 3%, the obtained resin coating contact angle of 92.3 degrees, resin coating self polishing rate is 0.2 μm/d, the inhibition rate of diatom resin coating up to 91%.
