There is more than 100 years, after people found Liquid Crystal, and after 1968 when people found Dynamic Light Scattering model of LC display, the application of LC are extensive used. Because TN, STN model of LCD have the bug of low response time, low drive duty, hard to colorize, so people have found the new LCD model called AM TFT-LCD. It was thought that, in all model of TFT-LCD, FFS model is the best one who has wide viewing angle, fast response time and low power. And FFS model LCD asked Liquid Crystal materials have fast response time, low driving voltage and high reliability.In this paper, the relationship between LCD performance and LC performance was studied, and the spec of high performance of LC is required. This paper also studied the relationship between Liquid Crystal molecule structure and physical performance. This paper invented a new type LC monomer, we tested it’s physical performance, as a result, it has high clearing point, high Δε, low rotary viscosity and high Elastic constant. We also invented a new LC mixture who has high physical performance and is suitable for FFS model TFT-LCD. Every performance of the new LC mixture are studied and every performance can reach the spec. At the same time, the sample of the new LC mixture was sent to BOE, and tested in real panel of FFS TFT-LCD, every performance can reach the spec of BOE.
