Research On Economic Evaluation And Risk Analysis Of MSW Incineration Power Generation Projects

The problem of municipal solid waste(MSW) has been recognized as the international problem by countries in the world. The study emphasis is not to control MSW safely but effective disposal by positive attitude and measures. MSW was regarded as a second resource. Our country has a large population and huge quantities of MSW. Garbage incineration industry is still in early stage. There are many problems in both macro and micro aspects. Because garbage incineration industry has important implications on resource conservation, environmental protection and national sustainable development, it is necessary for garbage incineration industry to evaluate in economy and risk analysis.During the construction and operation of project, economic loss caused by decision failure of investor and operator is called risk analysis. The study of economic evaluation is a feasible analysis process in economic evaluation, which could help managers make decision. It could provide a basis for investor bank lenders and construction units. A good project was equipped with not only advanced technology but also economic benefit and social benefit.The study of economic evaluation could provide decision support for investor and lenders. Compared with the general project, the method of the economic benefit for the industry need to consider some new questions, such as source of revenue and income origin and so on.In the paper, a moderate scale waste incineration power plant manged by BOT whose actuat daily capacity is 1500 tons was appraised. Based on defined analysis, the project should be feasible. and it has positive social impacts.
