The Experimental Analysis And Simulation Of The Knife Angle Of The Paper Cutter

Paper Cutter is an important equipment for the printing and packaging, Paper Cutter’s performance directly affects the quality of printing and packaging, improve Paper Cutter’s performance can dramatically increase the efficiency of print plant and quality. Knife is one of the most important parts of Paper Cutter, the knife angle and cutting its whereabouts way to have a great influence on the mechanical structure and cutting quality. The knife angle is usually decided by the material of the paper. In this study, I use experimental analysis and simulation to research the Influence of knife angle to the cutting accuracy and service life. I get the following success:1、Establish the mechanical model of the knife while cutting paperEstablish the force model of the knife, according to the force model, I find the reason of knife floating phenomenon. Then according to the theoretical formula to calculate the cutter cutting force and cutter in cutting three kinds of test paper when the flank of the force, that prepared for Ansys analysis.2、Design the cutting experiment and data acquisitionChoose two factor variance analysis with duplication as the means of experimental analysis, choose floating knife error data and the service life as the test index, knife angle and braking pressure as the test level, each test factors 4 levels. Arrange the cutting experiment, through cutting experiment i collect floating knife data and service life data what this study needed.3、Analysis of the experimental data and get the resultAnalysis by using the double factor variance, get knife in the various grinding angle cutting three kinds of test paper for floating knife error highly significant impact; analysis of the knife angle influence on the service life using diagram method. With the results of the analysis floating knife error and the service life, select the knife angle is suitable for three kinds of commonly used paper cut grinding angle.4、Create 3D model and Simulation by AnsysUse Ansys software to build a 3D model of the knife, analysis the cutting process when the forces of the applied load on the 3D model, simulation knife deformation when the forces is applied on the flank of the knife, get the simulation results and confirm the experimental analysis results.
