China is rich in coal resources, however, the geological and hydro-geological conditions of coal mine are very complex. Nearly 30% of the coal reserves are threatened by water disaster, which affects the safety production of coal mine production, hinders the development of China’s coal industry. In North China coal field area, the main aquifer that affects the mining of No.2 coal is Daqing and Ordovician limestone. With the increasing of mining depth, the water pressure of seam floor is also growing. So the hydrogeology feasibility study of the mining has important significance.A Colliery located in Fengfeng coalfield needs water inrush risk assessment for the maintenance of mine production status. Analysis the recharge, runoff and drainage conditions in Daqing and Ordovician limestone to provide hydrogeological basis for mining the No. Coal safely; Analysis the water-inrush characteristics of coal floor, determine the water-inrush master influence factors; Using a variety of methods to mine for risk evaluation of water inrush partition; Comparing all these methods, it’s urgent to take preventive measures to coal floor in dangerous area; Propose water control measures of mining No. 2 Coal in dangerous area, taking grouting reinforcement measures to Daqing limestone.
