As people are increasingly concerned about the environment, secure, water-based coating constantly replace oil-based coating, water-based coating has been developing rapidly in the past forty years. People have chosen tile as the decorating part of exterior wall, but ceramic tile will cause serious pollution to the environment in its preparation process. If ceramic tile has been used as the exterior wall for too long, they will easily lead to security problems. For those reasons, making use of water-based coatings are becoming the development tendency, high-performance exterior wall water-based coatings have a greater prospect.Acrylate emulsion has excellent adhesive and film forming properties. The study found that the organosilicone-modified acrylate emulsions not only have the advantages of an acrylate emulsion, but also have excellent weather resistance and stain resistance,which is a better exterior wall aqueous emulsion.According to the silicone-modified acrylate emulsion research status quo and development, as well as the development of outer wall coatings, this experiment has prepared a micro-phase separation structure of silicone modified acrylate emulsion, and the emulsion grain size is small, with good weather resistance, water resistance. We can apply this emulsion to imitation brick exterior wall, which will produce a standard and stain ability imitation brick exterior paint. Aiming at a micro-phase separation structure of silicone modified acrylate emulsion and its applications, studies in this paper are as follows:(1) In this study we have investigate the effects of the type and amount of emulsifier,initiator concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time, stirring speed, monomer dropping speed, dropping speed of initiator for the synthesis of silicone-modified acrylate emulsion properties. The results showed that: when the female surfactant’s ratio is 2:3 of nonionic emulsifier, vinyl triethoxysilane and vinyl silicone oil is 5%(of total monomer), initiator is 0.5% of the total monomer content, when optimal reactiontemperature is 80 ℃, optimum stirring speed is 220 r/min, the best pre-emulsified monomer dropwise rate 25 ml/h, the best rate of initiator added dropwise was 3.5 ml/h,whch produced the best overall performance emulsion.(2) In this study we have investigate the effects of selection and the amount of iorganic insilicon inmonomer inof insilicone inmodified inacrylate inemulsion inproperties.(3) In this study we have investigate the synthesis method of micro-phase separation structure of silicone modified acrylic emulsion: fine emulsified semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerization method.(4) Research the coating preperation process, feeding sequence, emulsion matrix,thickeners, film-forming aids, the ratio of filler and the emulsion coating impact on the performance of the imitation brick. The results showed that: in the preparation process of imitation brick exterior coating, the first thickener is dissolved into a viscous, add talc,calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, pigments, et al.When it comes to a certain fineness of the grind, was added coalescent, propylene glycol, wetting agents, antifoaming agents,leveling agents, and finally under a stirring rate, during the emulsion adding process,sand will be added prepared imitation brick facades excellent performance coatings.(5) Detection of imitation brick exterior wall coating performance’s preparation of micro-phase separation structure with acrylate emulsions. Test results show that: the prepared imitation brick exterior wall coating met JG/T24-2000 Sand textured synthetic resin emulsion architectural paint standard.Exterior paint was exposed long time to the sunshine, this paper talked about the synthesis of a UV resistant silicone modified acrylate emulsion, the emulsion UV resistance ability, applied to the exterior wall of imitation brick paint, the exterior imitation brick coating is prepared in line with the strong standard UV performance. For UV resistant silicone modified acrylate emulsion and its applications, the paper’s contents are as follows:(1) Introduction of functional groups to UV-acrylic emulsion, and investigate the effects of selection and the amount of the anti-UV monomer silicone modified acrylicemulsion paint and brick facades imitation of UV resistance.(2) In this study we have investigated the amount of UV resistant monomer affecting the water resistance of Silicone modified acrylic emulsion.(3) Detection of imitation brick exterior wall coating’s performance and preparation of UV resistant silicone modified acrylic emulsion. Test results show that: the prepared imitation brick exterior wall coating met JG/T24-2000 Sand textured synthetic resin emulsion architectural paint standard.
