Motion Trajectory Planning And Control System Design Of The Form Grinding Machine

Gear grinding is the highest technical requirements in the process of gear machining, a process can fully grinding hardening of metal surface, not only can obtain high machining accuracy and surface quality, but also can save before hardening gear shaving process, so as to simplify the process. Currently, the self-developed gear grinding machine is not perfect enough, and less species, mainly depend on import, the price is very expensive. In order to better study the key technical problems in the process of gear grinding, our group decide to build a CNC forming grinding machine test platform. Based on the test platform, we expect to explore out a low cost, high precision forming grinding machine development.First of all, this paper introduces the method of forming the basic principle of gear grinding processing, the basic process of gear grinding and gear grinding machine of main components, on the basis of the analysis of its control functions compared with the control scheme, provide the basis for the design of the control system.Secondly, according to the principle of gear spatial meshing theory, gear modification and form grinding movement is analyzed, calculated the grinding wheel cross-sectional shape, and generate the grinding wheel dressing motion trajectory. According to the request of CNC machining, the grinding wheel cross-sectional shape of biarc fitting and the study of transition curve, the grinding wheel cross-sectional shape can achieve smooth connection.Then, based on "PC + motion control card" control mode, the design of the CNC forming grinding machine’s overall control system framework and the electrical circuit design and wiring installation is completed. Hardware system is mainly composed of MPC2810 motion control card, AC servo drive system, circular grating and touch screen, etc.Finally, based on the gear grinding machine and automatic grinding process control system structure, motion control software is developed. Control system software design includes: human computer interface, automatic grinding process functions, automatic, system back to the origin, parameters in the management and so on.
