Coal and gas outburst is a gas dynamics phenomenon which is affected synthetically by stress,gas pressure and the coal structure.This article has summarized coal and gas outburst features by adding up the coal and gas outburst case that happened in Pingdingshan Mining Area:74 % of coal and gas outbursts have been relation with geologic structure. According to the tectonic evolution of the previous tectonic movement in Pingdingshan mining, analyzing mine geological structure control features.Took the D group coal seams of NO.1 coal mine,NO.4 coal mine,NO.6 coal mine and NO.10 caol mine as the research objects, Discussed the control effect of coal and gas outbursts from the geological structures, tectonic stress, tectonic coal, gas Pressure and gas content.got the result that geologic structure was the main controlling geological factors of D group coal seams in Pingdingshan Mining Area.At the same time, found out the otherness geologic factors of outburst dangerous of D group coal seams within NO.1 coal mine and NO.10 coal mine:(1)Geologic structure of NO.10 coal mine is relatively complex and Compound strongly. Geologic structure of NO.1 coal mine is relatively simple.(2) D group coal seams within NO.10 coal mine is control significantly by large folds, folds structure is strong,Geologic structure forms tectonic stress concentration belt within NO.10 coal mine, and it is unconspicuous within NO.1 coal mine.
