The Research Of Personalized Design Based On The Limitations Of 3D Printing Material

3D printing is a new technology that puts virtual intelligent digital technology and modern industrial production together, and 3D printing materials dominate the 3D printing technology’s application and development. At present, 3D printing technology have improved a lot in all walks of life like the aerospace, biological, medical, construction, clothing, food and so on. As a large manufacturing and sales industry, the garment industry has the same development trend as other industries. They are all in the direction of intelligent digital development. Of course, any technology will increasingly develops from the initial exploration of budding stage to the mature and stable stage, so the application of 3D printing technology in the clothing will not just stay in the current pursuit of "visual effects" level, it will eventually move towards clothing, practical.3D printing material impedes the development of intelligent garment. Although there has been many relevant enterprises and research institutions are focusing on the research of new type of clothing material, there still exists some gaps between the current 3D printing material and traditional fabric. 3D printing materials still have many problems like few species, poor comfort and stretch, expensive price. These problems lead to garment intelligent digital process becomes slow. This paper will stand in the perspective of a designer, based on the research of 3D printing materials used in the garment parts, the analysis of production of 3D printing materials and stitching structure to try to resolve this problem. And then to provide more elements for garment design by studying the transformation of 3D printing material in clothing design fabrics. I hope that this technology can have further development in the field of clothing through the design and application of 3D printing materials.
