The Study Of The Traditional Ethnic Clothing Of Achang Nationality

The traditional ethnic clothing of Achang nationality has the unique feature in the whole 55minorities’. It is one of the most part in Chinese ethnic clothing, with its own technology and culture. Thus, the study of ethnic clothing is of great significance. The types and styles of the traditional clothing of Achang are full of variety and they kept very complete. In modern days,with the great improving of the industry,young people hasn’t dressed up the traditional clothes and fewer and fewer people master the technology of the traditional ethnic clothing of Achang nationality except in special days. It is becoming more ordinary like normal clothing, so urgent attention and protection is needed.This study is on the basis of on-the-spot investigation of the Achang’s field. It combines the history related to the traditional clothing of Achang with the others’ research result. And it’s in terms of from the standpoint of the history culture, natural environment, manners and customs.Taking three types of clothing traditional costumes of Achang households scattered region, and the La Sa Lianghe region, to make horizontal analysis and vertical analysis of the whole design of the traditional ethnic clothing of Achang. This study divide into three chapters to introduce the clothing in three main settlements and make a comparison for them. And then,it’s a contrastly analysis about the clothing of Achang and the clothing of the Dai nationality and special clothing of the Han nationality from the same region. And introduce the study of the clothing of newborns,the wedding dress, the funeral dress and the special dress in the religious activities. And the regard of the technologies of spinning and dying. In the end of the study, I will put some suggestions for the protection of the culture of the traditional ethnic clothing of Achang. This study make some methods like the field work, the analysis of current materials and the specialized analysis to complete the rounded analysis of the specialized study of the traditional ethnic clothing of Achang. Hopefully, through this study, I’d like to make a contribution to theprotection of the traditional ethnic clothing of the Achang nationality.
