China is one of the countries rich in copper resources in the world, but which have the characteristics of larger lean ore, little mine with rich grade. And the copper resources with high grade are only accounts for 35% of the total resources. Copper resources in china has the following characteristics: deposit small scale, low grade, symbiotic associated ore, remaining reserves in the large scale and high grade of ore deposits in the remote areas, the development and utilization is difficult.Mineral processing reagents are mostly organic products, which need consume large amounts of chemical raw materials. And which not only increased the processing cost, but also increased increasingly tense energy situation in our country. On the other hand, the waste of chemical plant may cause great pollution to the environment with failed to properly handle. So, the research and development of low cost collector has become an important direction of the future flotation technology development. The synthesis of the mineral processing reagents, which use of chemical waste, can not only reduce the waste pollution to the environment, but also greatly reduce the processing cost, achieve the effect of access to social and economic benefits.This research paper by chemical waste as the research object, the waste has complicated composition and high concentration of pollutants. Using chemical analysis, found that the waste containing C=C,C:=S,C-H, and other functional groups, completed the waste collector exploring experiment, and found that the chemical waste has collecting ability for copper sulfide ore. This project use chemical waste into new JL01 collector. We use LJ01 instead of xanthate. LJL01 has been used successfully in a local copper ore. Pure mineral test results confirmed that JL01 as collector system, the pH value at 9.0-11, the recovery rate of chalcopyrite is higher, were higher than 90%, the recovery rate of pH between 10.0-11.0, the best illustrate chalcopyrite in the system of JL01 flotability is very well; And pyrrhotite flotation recovery rate is lower than 50%, prove JL01 choice of chalcopyrite is collecting performance. Under the appropriate pH JL01 on chalcopyrite collecting performance has obvious superiority.With collector contrast test, the JL01 has a significant performance of collecting; the consumption of JL01 is 45 g/t and 5 g/t in rougher and concentrate process, respectively. With all open-circuit test and closed-circuit test, the grade and recovery of copper with the JL01 as collector is slightly higher than butyl xanthate as collector. The JL01 replace butyl xanthate as collector of the mine, can reduce the costs and improve the economic benefit.
