Detaching roller transmission mechanism is one of the core institutions of combing machine, at present, most of the detaching roller drive mechanisms are composed by the planar linkage mechanism and differential gear train. In the planar linkage mechanism, because of the irregular shape and non uniform motion of the most of components, the detaching roller transmission mechanism produces a large vibration in the process of movement, and the mechanical vibration contributes to the wear of the components, reduces the service life of the components, hinders the improvement of the speed, affects the quality of the cotton net’s lap; At the same time, the contact points of members in the planar linkage mechanism are more, the accumulation of assembly error are bigger, therefore, the transmission accuracy of the mechanism is affected. Based on the above reasons, according to the vibration parameters and motion parameters of the existing driving mechanism of detaching roller, the balance optimization and mechanism design are used in the detaching roller transmission mechanism, it can reduce the vibration of institutions and improve the mechanism of transmission accuracy.Analyzing the working principle of the driving mechanism of detaching roller, the Solidworks three dimensional modeling technology and Adams virtual prototype technology were used in studying detaching roller transmission mechanism of combing machine, the individual components of inertial force and the total inertia force of the mechanism were discussed. Studying the motion relationships of the detaching roller transmission mechanism, the linearly independent vector method, quality—acceleration method and Matlab software were used in the balance optimization of detaching roller transmission mechanism. Using the three dimensional modeling software Solidworks to rethink the optimized mechanism modeling, the virtual prototype simulation software Adams was used in the simulation analysis and discussing the inertial force of the detaching roller transmission mechanism after the optimization. Processed according to the results of the optimization object and using vibration tester to verify the optimization effect in the process of movement. According to the motion relationship of detaching roller transmission mechanism, using Matlab software to simulate the movement of detaching roller transmission mechanism, and to solve the movement parameters of detaching roller, mechanism design was used in the variable speed drive part of detaching roller transmission mechanism based on the above results.The results show: different components produces different inertia force in the process of movement of the detaching roller transmission mechanism, the order from large to small is swinging arm, eccentric sleeve, rocker, connecting rod EF, connecting rod AB, rocker connector and timing adjustment plate, and the proportion account for the total inertia force is respectively 38.55%, 36.87%, 8.75%, 8.01%, 5.72%, 1.37%, 0.73%. Improving the speed of combing machine at constant, the inertial force of driving mechanism of detaching roller also increases at the same rate, at the same time, improving the speed of combing machine at constant, the organization inertia force increases at the same rate before and after the optimization.
