With the rapid development of China’s economy, the demand for energy also in the rapid promotion, where the oil is the main energy, and because of the limitation of its strategic importance and resources, oil has become an indispensable strategic materials. In our country, although there is rich in oil resources, but most of oil fields in our country mining has entered late, underground energy storage is not enough to form a flowing, natural flow rate has been satisfied economic production. What is more, need to mining in case of heavy oil, and the heavy oil recovery has become the focus of attention of experts at domestic and foreign.This paper mainly introduces the foundation in steam assisted gravity drainage technology(SAGD) on oil.Through the underground actual measurement parameter changes, to control the oil production system and make the system to ensure that the energy saving, high oil production and stable and secure operation.This paper briefly introduces the steam assisted gravity drainage technology.According to the characteristics of the technique of steam assisted gravity drainage, this brings flash phenomena occurred in the production system under high temperature and pressure.The mathematical model of the submersible electric pump is made.Use PI control and double PI with choke valve to control the system more stable.By comparing the simulation result with the choke valve control system has better characteristics.Use the model predictive control(MPC) to the large inertial system in the actual production.Dynamic matrix control and predictive PI control are respectively carried out by using MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation software,and compare the characteristics of predictive PI control and PID control.The simulation results show that the predictive control has better dynamic characteristics and robustness to the large inertia system in the actual production,and meet the actual needs of the project.
