Project cost management is a discipline which has a very wide range of applications. It takes a very important position in project management. Especially in many construction projects, project cost management as a means of cost control has been applied in the whole project management process. With the continuous improvement of the economic system, the enterprise has made great progress in the project management mode, and the cost management of the project has been greatly improved, but because of some old ideas, backward management methods, there are still many problems seriously hampered the benefit of the project. In the past, there are problems of cost management in the construction projects, such as the cost is too high, the cost of the whole project is beyond the budget, and can not complete the schedule and the supervision is not in place. It is a serious impact on the construction of the project. Therefore, this paper is of great significance for the research of the cost management of Yan Chang oil field center laboratory construction project.In this paper, the present situation of cost management of construction project is studied, and the theory and practice are combined. Through literature review, field survey, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the paper discusses the cost management of Yan Chang oil field center laboratory construction project. This paper first analyzes the current situation of the cost management of the project of the center of the oil field, and analyzes the reasons of the existing problems. Combined with the project requirements, project characteristics, project cost budget and other aspects of the project cost management system, and the use of the value analysis method to optimize the project construction, the use of earned value analysis method for project construction stage cost control, and the implementation of the results of the cost management evaluation and effect analysis.
