The Application Of Frequency Control Technology In The Oilfield Ground Production System

Because of the low efficiency and high energy consumption of the ground oil production system, leading to the cost of oil production increases. In this paper, we put forward the viewpoint of reforming this system basing on its excellent speed governing performance and significant energy saving effect, so that we can eliminate the problem of generating electricity, realize soft start and improve the system’s efficiency. The development of this project has important significance for the Petroleum Enterprise to realizing energy saving and production efficiency.On the basis of widely collecting datum and the practical situation of the former ground oil production system, this paper calculated the system’s efficiency, analyzed the efficiency of the former system and compared the effect of saving energy of several energy-saving scheme which were already used in the oilfield, we proposed the idea that using frequency control technology, reactive power compensation technology and sensor technology to alter the former ground oil production system. In this paper, we also put forward the overall scheme, devised the overall and detailed plan, theoretically analyzed the possibility of increasing production and saving energy, analyzed and compared the movement of the altered system with the former system, we concluded that the altered system can meet the needs of efficient production no matter what kinds of reservoir geological conditions are the oil well in. Combined with the special geographical environment, the altered system was used in the small range, according to the experimental data, analyzed the economic benefit and evaluated the social benefit, at the end of this paper, we pointed out the superiority and potential failure of this system.Through the application of this system, we found that the frequency control technology has great potential in Petroleum Enterprise, which provides the guidance and technical support for the Petroleum Enterprise to realize the goal of saving energy and increasing production.
