In recent years, more and more coal mine accidents happend. Once the accident happened, original communication system of coal mine may fail, which will greatly hinder the underground rescue work. At present, China’s disaster communication equipment underground emergency can only provide voice or data information simply, which can not fully reflect the actual situation of the disaster area. Meanwhile, the rescue workers in the rescue process are prone to a variety of secondary disasters, the concern of secondary disasters and not accurately judgement are often seriously delay to carry out rescue work. This article, which is based on this background, relying on the national science and technology support program "Visualization wireless communication technology and equipment for underground disaster relief based on Mesh network" (2013BAK06B03), proposes the establishment of an effective and reliable communication system in coal mine, and completes the development and design of environmental parameters monitoring subsystem.Based on the network demand of the environment parameter monitoring subsystem, the paper introduces and designes the underground emergency relief of wireless Mesh network. This paper describes the basic status of wireless Mesh network and the comparison with other wireless networks, and selects the wireless Mesh network as underground wireless emergency disaster communications network. Besides, test and analysis of wireless Mesh network structure. At last, we choose the most appropriate network architecture and network equipment.According to the needs of control center environment parameter monitoring software, We use C++ language to develop coal mine environmental monitoring system software in the VC++6.0 platform, system software in various parts of the module are also described in detail. This system is structured into serial communication modules, the main window module, locating the faulty node module and early warning module.Serial communication modules are mainly responsible for the underground environment between detectors, as well as data acquisition for gas after the disengagement, binary conversion process. Main window module, on the one hand, receives gas data and displays eight kinds of gas dynamic real-time data; on the other hand, due to the size limit of Console host hard disk, periodically upload the data to a remote server. Locating the faulty node module is mainly used to quickly locate wireless Mesh nodes in real emergency scenes. Warning module is three seconds ahead of forecast values of the parameters downhole environment and early warning process, and can get more valuable time for rescuers.Finally, in wireless Mesh network, the coal mine emergency rescue "integrated" software platform herein is based on the integrated network performance,so testing the performance of wireless Mesh network and monitoring system is what we need to do. Integrated test of wireless Mesh network is selected in Beijing Grand Canal Forest Park, and we also test and analysis of the network bandwidth, transmission delay and network performance.The test site of Environmental monitoring system performance is selected in the Beijing Jiaotong University campus, and the main content of test is the every module performance of the environment monitoring system.Parts of the above together complete the design and implementation of environmental monitoring system.
