The billet is made of molten steel after casting for semi product, which must be processed further in order to use. In the modern industrial production, the requirement of billet quality is higher and higher. As to the means of processing currently, the grinding billet of grinding machine is the main method, which can change the surface quality of billet in order to meet the production requirements. So the quality requirements of grinding billet are also getting higher and higher.But in the process of grinding billet, if the grinding wheel exists unbalance, it will cause vibration and noise of the machine tool, which makes the working life of the grinding wheel decrease and also restricts the billet precision. Obviously, in the actual production conditions, due to the existence of various factors the grinding wheel will inevitably have dynamic unbalance. Therefore, study on the application of dynamic balance technology in grinding billet will have great studying significance and practical economic significance.Based on the previous automatic balance technology of grinding wheel, this paper carries out the following research:(1)This paper summarizes the research status of automatic balance technology of grinding wheel at home and abroad, and elaborates the significance of study on dynamic balance technology of grinding billet wheel.(2)This paper studys the working principle of grinding wheel balancing head, designs grinding wheel balancing structure of grinding billet wheel, analyses the composition of the structure and the balance process,and calculate the transmission ratio and degree of freedom for the balancing structure; This paper calculates the friction force for worm pair in the working process and designs the balance disc in detail.(3) This paper analysis the composition of grinding vibration signal in the theory, preprocessing method for signal, and separating the vibration signal caused by grinding wheel unbalance based on correlation filtering method. Finally, this paper introduces the calculation of the amplitude and phase algorithm of unbalance signal.(4) This paper introduces how to use VB program and calculation module and graphics module of MATIAB to develop application program of signal processing system for grinding billet wheel.(5) This paper introduces several control strategy of the dynamic balancing system for grinding billet wheel and selects the appropriate control strategy for this system.Through this paper studying, solving the unbalance vibration causeed by grinding wheel in the working process in theory, so that it can have laid a good foundation for studying the dynamic balance technology further of grinding billet wheel.
