Epichlorohydrin is broadly used in epoxy resin, synthetic glycerin, chlorohydrin rubber, pharmaceutical, paint and other products, while epoxy resin is extensively applied in military industry and related civilian fields, such as casting,laminated materials, impregnation, coatings, adhesives, for its advantages such as good stability, high hardness, well flexibility, and outstanding adhesion. In this study, we prepared epichlorohydrin and expoxy resin, and studied the feasibility of building an epichlorohydrin-expoxy resin project, based on the superiority of Changshou Economic and Technological Development Area(CETDA) in integrated chemical industrial chain, infrastructure and material guarantee, to capture the electronic information, automobile, construction and other market in Chongqing and the surrounding areas. The results shows that:1. The synthesis of Epichlorohydrin:using propylene and cl2 Saponified epichlorohydrin.2.The preparation of BPA epoxy resin: using epichlorohydrin, BPA, sodium hydroxide as reaction monomer, quaternary-N as catalyst, prepare the BPA epoxy resin.3. The preparation of BPF epoxy resin: prepare the BPA epoxy resin with epichlorohydrin, BPF, sodium hydroxide,.4.Through our experiments, we found the preparation method of Epichlorohydrin, BPA, BPF. We’ve transited and productized it,the quality of the products is superiority in domestic, has a strong competitive advantage, will further improve the production process, optimize production technology, reduce production costs, improve product performance5.To speed up the large-scale production, with the advantage of the resource of CETDA,we have planned the product chain and the integrated development, in order to reduce resource consumption and improve the safety of environmental protection.
