Development Of New Coking-Coal Resources And Experimental Study On Blending Coal

The sustained rapid growth of China’s iron and steel industry has promoted the rapid development of coking industry, the rapid increase in coke production has led to the shortage of coking coal, and especially the supply of high quality coking coal, the price of the coking coal has risen sharply. Therefore, developing new coking coal resource, optimizing coal blending structure, taking into account the cost of coal blending, and stabilizing improving the quality of coke is an important way to coking industry of coordinate, health, sustainable development.In order to ease the pressure caused by coal, we develop a new type of coking coal, this paper selects 12 kinds of new coal species, including 5 kinds of imported coal and 7 kinds of domestic coal. Through coal quality analysis, research of coking properties of single coal with small coke oven, and contrastning with the market prices, reserves, transport distance and other factors, that these coal’s ash, volatile points is moderate, sulfurcontent is low, adhesion is better,they are belong to the coking coal 25# and petrographic data show, the average maximum reflectance of Rmax is 1.222 ~ 1.494, graphics are mainly distributed in the 0.9 to 1.7 range of pit 3# Mongolian coal, Liulin coal, Braun clean coal, Zhaiya Di coal and Pusheng Mongolian coal, they meet the production requirements of enterprises, so we choose the five coal to make coal blending experiments.At present, the enterprise use six kinds of high quality coal to blendcoal and coking, that the cost is high.Through analysing the existing coal with coke and mirror, we grasp the nature, and make experiment in different proportion of six coalcombined with the new five kinds of coal with small coke oven test, iron box test and examine the five new coal whether to replace original coal. The results show that these six kinds of new coal can satisfy the requirements of enterprises through reasonable ratio. Through the stomatal analysis, optical tissue of the coke analysis, the results shown that we can improve coke quality by appropriate adjustment of coal ratio. In 2013, after adjusting the ratio, the quality index of coke M40 is greater than or equal to82.00%, M10 is less than or equal to 7.20%, and Ad is less than or equal to 12.43%, St, d is less than or equal to 0.85%, CRI is less than or equal to 28%, CSR is more than or equal to 63%.In the practical production, the five kinds of new coal is applied, it provides the supply capacity of 200 million tons / year, the actual usage of the new coal in Coking Plant is to reach50 million tons / year, effectively expanding the coking coal source of Baotou Iron and Steel Group Corporation. It will reduce the production cost and ensure the quality of coke products.
