Coolie car is a relatively wide range of mine auxiliary transport equipment at home and abroad. Most of the existing rail car wire rope traction, due to the use of wire rope in the process of corrosion, broken wire and wear and make its strength decreased, resulting in wire rope breaking accident. In coal mine production, mine auxiliary transportation accidents, about 30% of the total underground accidents, wounding about 13.5%, most of which are caused by the imperfect system of transportation equipment, which can not be caused by real time braking, brake system failure and so on, which seriously affect the safety of coal mine production. In this paper, the problem of the brake of the coal mine truck brake is mainly made the following analysis and research:Through the analysis of the research status of the domestic and international rail transport vehicle braking system, the design scheme of the new type of card system is established. According to the engineering practice, the basic parameters and basic structure of the new type rail car are established. The mechanical structure of the new type rail car is designed. The Solid Works model is built. Through the research of these aspects, the results show that the innovative design of the new type of card rail vehicle braking system can meet the expected design requirements, and the key parts meet the strength requirements, so that the new coolie car can achieve fast, timely and smooth braking.In this paper, the design of a new type of brake system, whether in the Solid Works software for three-dimensional solid design, or on the vehicle’s virtual assembly, and then to the simulation of the overall performance of the vehicle, and through the use of finite element analysis method, the strength of the important parts of the whole, the difference between the traditional design methods: easy to modify and the results of the preservation and exchange, design efficiency is high, the cost is small.
