Along with the development of China’s automobile industry, tires increase in demand, and more and more strictly requirements, enterprise competition is becoming increasingly fierce. To improve the quality of the tire is important way to increase the enterprise’s competitiveness.In the tire curing, flash is a common problem, it would affect tire dynamic balance, and increase the hidden danger of the car, especially for the prestige car, flash is not allowed, so many enterprises focus on the problem.Many factors can result in tire flash:vulcanizing press aiming accuracy, mould deformation, mould wear, mould machining precision and assembly accuracy. Most of them can be solved according to improve the mould structure design and select suitable material. Because of the relative motion between mould components, wear is unable to avoid.In the structure design, for the parts easy to be worn, installed sliding plates. So the sliding plates are worn most seriously. For solving the problem, the existing measures are to add shim or replace sliding plates, but when and how to adjust, there is no theory to direct, it is the topic research focus. This paper will carry out the following work:(1) Based on research of inclined plane oriented segment mould, to build wear mathematic model on the sliding plates of cone ring, top plate and bottom plate.(2) To collect wear data, designing a simplify device, and simulating wear test in the labs. Finally, collecting the wear data, sorting out and analyzing.(3) According to compare the real data with Deform-3D simulation result, to adjust the correction coefficient a、b、c of the Archard model. Making use of the adjusted coefficient to simulate and analyze the wear regularity and wear linear equation of sliding plates.(4) When completing the above work, to write a database management system software on the wear of radial tyre segmented mould. According to the software to query the wear data of sliding plates, and make use of the wear data to maintain and manage mould.
