Abstract/Summary:
A Company is a traditional manufacturing and processing enterprise,has made sustained and rapid development in recent years.However,many problems are exposed in enterprise with the growth year by year,the current management and production mode can’t provide adequate support to meet the development needs of enterprise.PVC pipeline workshop decides to transform the production mode to multi-specification and small batch production mode according to the characteristics of market demand and the current situation of the production,and at the same time,applying IE(Industrial Engineering)to improve the mode of production management.This thesis takes PVC pipeline workshop as the research object.The program analysis theory is used to analyze the on-site layout to find the questions,using the layout decision and 5W1 H technology to solve the question,and making achievement of reducing the running distance of people and logistics in the production site through;the line balance theory is used to analyze the staff operation and equipment operation to find the constraints,and using the theory of constraints and ECRS principle to improve the production line,significantly improving the line balance rate through simplifying the operation and reduce the action waste of the staff;the theory of on-site management is used to analyze staff and machines and materials and methods and environment to find the question,using 5S management and location-fixing management to specification the staff and machine and material,effectively improving the on-site working environment.A company can in-depth analysis the difficulties of management and formulate improvement project by using theory of IE,and makes the transformation of production mode,achieves the goal of improvement.
