As one of the gradually mature casting process,the sand faced-iron mould casting has a great advantage in the high rate of the quality goods and the accuracy;but when taking out the castings from the metal mould, sand removal of the phenolic resin inside are always a problem.ZJIMEE.LTD adopts a shakeout machine to handle the process of sand removal, the issue is that the input power of the machine is so huge that will lead the wasting of the electcity, meanwhile the angle of the polarization blocks at both ends of motor shaft is not adjustable in the vibration process and all of that will cause serious problems like hige noise and dust,what is more,the rate of the sand removal based on the shakeout machine is far less than expected yet the sand couldn’t 100%remove from the metal mould.The process of sand removal focus more on the shake-out machine at present,to improve the efficiency and the environment researchers had selected varity of method to go with the issue, but didn’t make great process.Based on the real condition of the sand removal combining with defect on the research,the article provided a diffierent way to pretreat the sand-faced metal mould first combining with theory analysis,experiment simulation,data collected and comparative analysis Behaviorally to cut the sand layer base on crack technique cause of stress concentration effect,research works are presented as follows:1.Setting up the theoretical mode based on crack technique and unstable propagation of the crack through the collisionof the shakeout machine,meanwhile annlysis the relationship between stress and strain.2. Specify the characteristics of the coated sand layer and analysis the solidification process,meanwhile analysis the influencing factors of the coated sand strength.Comparing diffierent ways of cutting and define the cutting position.There’s something to do between coated sand and the temperature,adopting a sort of flexible laser cutting can achieve the goaland the cutting process was controlled based on PLC.3.Setting up the collision experimental research and the results showed that:the shedding time of the coated sand cann’t be influenced within a certain temperature range in different strength.Compared the crack group and crack free group,the shedding time is ahead of 8.5s when the carck exsit;the gradient shedding experiment also showed that the shedding procee almost finished in the first half as soon as the shakeout machine started 7.1s when the crack exsit compared with crack free 16.2s.4.Using the pre-treated method would improve the environment of the sand removal by evaluation and analysis.Based on the collected data the efficiency was improved 53% through calculation,the shakeout machine was optimized to some extend.
