With the national environmental protection requirements for continuous improvement, the sulfur content of gasoline index is becoming more and more strict, the 2014 January 1, will be in the nationwide began implemented IV standard, which sulfur content is less than or equal to 50 mg·L-1 (Beijing area has been in the country take the lead in the implementation of the standard of gasoline sulfur content of 50 mg ·L-1 on 1 January 2008). Requires long-term gasoline indicators in line with national V standard, which sulfur content is less than or equal to 10 mg·L-1, low sulfur and ultra-low sulfur is the future development trend of gasoline for vehicles. S-Zorb has the advantages of high efficiency, low octane loss, low operation cost, and introduces the technology principle of S-Zorb desulfurization technology, the nature of the adsorbent, process flow, and the extension of the industrial operation in Yanan petrochemical plant. Using a lot of production data, the industrial application of S-Zorb desulfurization technology is analyzed. From the point of view of practical application, S-Zorb desulfurization technology can reduce the sulfur content of catalytic gasoline to 30 mg·L-1 or even 10 mg·L-1, and can meet the requirements of sulfur content in the country.
