The die bra is beloved by more and more women for its comfortable wearing experience and beautiful wearing shape. But we find that the die bra is one-body forming which needs a high body fitness to the bra. Due to the die bra’s shaped model and low plasticity, there will be bra’s extrusion deformation and the accessory breast phenomenon and so on if the mold cup of the die bra is not suitable to the breast of the one who wears the die bra. There are too many types of mold cups and the mold cup cannot be worn on the breast directly, so there will be no the step of wearing the mold cup in the customization process of individual mold cup. Meantime,everyone’s breast is different. The mold cups designed for the customs will not put into the production due to the high cost of die sinking. So the important part of the individual bra customization is how to build virtual mold cup wearing model for the mold cup body fitness research.This paper selects the 75 B middle size mannequins as the research subject and gets the 3D body image through TC2 3D body scanner. Selecting two classical relevant bra cup based on the selected sample breast model,getting the 3D point cloud data through 3D body scanner.Extract five human body characteristic curves,and save it in the entity model by using the form ofgrid lines which ensure the integrity of the curves in the software of finite element analysis.Me shing the chest into grids by professional meshing tool Hypermesh and making cups to the initial position by rotating them 35 degrees anticlockwise. Use the finite element method to the virtual fitting of the bra cup, the material properties will be set based on the actual situation of the bra cup and the human body condition. By investigating in bra design department in the company to determine the contact points between breast and bra and confirm the contact path, build the three-dimensional virtual fitting model of the bra cup and get the difference of the body fitness level of the experiment object’s breast model by comparing the virtual calculating result of the bra cup. Compared same location parameter from two situations,the deviation of all parameters are within 10%. Pressure value of simulation within the scope of actual measurement and verify the feasibility of finite element apply to research about bra cup fitness.Using the finite element method to the virtual fitting of the bra cup and setting the physicalproperties, improve the truth of simulation. Provide the cloth and human body contact method and create contact model, chose the comfortable fit cup for customer in personalization through virtual fitting. Secondly, finding the shortage of cup in hand and revising it on reverse engineering software to reduce the wasting of resource because of repeated experimental in industrial production.
