Diacetate fiber have the advantage of selective adsorption of coal-tap and entrapping other harmful particles which exist in cigarettes while not changing the taste of the smoke, so many countries choose the diacetate fiber as the filter material for cigarette. In now days no matter domestic or abroad, when diacetate fiber components used in the production line it would be occurred defect hole that need to plugged by manual work due to the limitations of the development of diacetate fiber spinning technology level. In this case it will affect the uniformity of the tow fineness and will increase labor costs and reducing production efficiency because of the defect hole. How to reduce the number of the defect hole became the key point of this paper. The paper is mainly about the design of spinneret:measured the rheological behavior of the cellulose acetate slurry at the spinning process temperature condition and simulate the flow behavior of the slurry. Design a new component for dry spinning of cellulose acetate fiber.Firstly, this paper introduced the production and development of the diacetate fiber and analyzed the problem when producing the fiber, then analysis the structure of the spinneret and its sealed manner, the arrangement of the spinneret hole, the structure of the guide hole, the shape of the spinneret micro-hole and its length-diameter ratio, how to calculate the pressure drop for the heteromorphic spinneret hole, discussed the effect of different structure of the diffuser plate and different arrangements of distribution holes when spinning.Secondly, it introduced the rheological properties of polymer solution and measure the rheological properties of cellulose acetate-acetone solutions both in low temperature and high temperature based on rotational rheometer (model:MCR301) and capillary rheometer, then use the data of low temperature which measured by rotational rheometer to derivate to high temperature viscosity of the solution and compared the two sets of data.Studied principle of the slurry flow in component based on basic principles of polymer rheology. Simulated flow behavior of the slurry when flow in component and spinneret hole based on POLYFLOW software and reach the conclusion of the temperature field, pressure field, velocity field of the slurry flow state in the component and spinneret hole.Based on the theoretical research mentioned above and experimental verification, we designed a set of new components which will reduce the defect hole obviously and the tow is thick, the power of extrusion is strong when it is on production line.
