In the process of brazing diamond bit manufacturing, the active element of the Ni-Cr alloy formed a carbide layer on diamond surface, which led to a strong chemical and metallurgy combination between diamond and matrix. The protrusion ratio and utilization ratio of diamond grits had been improved greatly. The main creative contents of the paper are as follows:(1) Based on the JAVA development,calculation software of metal powder was designed for brazed diamond bit.Inputting the bit parameters and the matrix formula,the weight of metal powder and diamond for matrix can be conveniently calculated,and the calculation results can be archived and printed. This software belongs to Browser/Server structure and it is different from Client/Server structure.(2) Through a large amount of experiments, perfect sintering process provides a theoretical basis for after soldering bit processing. Problems of steel overheat during the process of manufacturing the brazing diamond bit for vacuum brazing activation sintering machine will also be improved.(3) With the aim of testing body’s mechanical properties and braze and sintering body specimen, a mold of body specimen was designed. Through testing the tensile strength, the body specimen with diamond tensile strength is higher than the sample without diamond; the fracture section on the macro is brittle, under the same tensile stress, the plastic of the sample without diamond is higher; under the same movements, the grained stress of body sample containing diamond is greater.(4)Through the SEM analysis of tensile fracture and the deep corrosive process of it, the result that different sample has different element distribution was discovered. The Ni-Cr added to the body generates the chromium carbide compounds in the interface, which improved the holding force between matrix and diamond grits.
