With the rapid development of China's economy,shallow minerals are decreasing,drilling technology continues to deep hole,ultra deep hole direction development,drilling tools more and more heavy weight,starting to drill the speed is also more and more high,at this time the rig winch braking system safety and reliability is particularly important.Copper-based Powder Metallurgy Friction material has the advantages of high friction coefficient,high temperature resistance,good thermal conductivity,good stability under different conditions,good wear resistance,and so on,its application range is wide and the usage is larger.This paper mainly discusses the influence of sintering process on the properties of powder metallurgy friction material,and the sintering temperature and sintering pressure are two important factors,which are also the emphases of this paper.By reference to the influence of pre pressure in cold press sintering,300 MPa compression molding was carried out for all specimens,and after the study of sintering process parameters and physical properties of material components,in this experiment,12 groups of sintering parameters were designed for hot-pressing sintering,then the physical and mechanical properties of the specimens were tested,and the microstructure was observed by polarizing microscope,and the data were analyzed and summed up.The test also tested the friction coefficient of the brake pads at different braking speeds and analyzed the influence rules.According to the experimental results,the study shows:The influence of sintering temperature on physical and mechanical properties and friction and wear properties of the material is obvious1.When the sintering temperature gradually increases,the density,hardness and compressive strength of the material increase first and then decrease,the porosity decreases and then increases,and the optimal value is obtained at 930 Shan.2.When the sintering temperature gradually increases,the friction coefficient of the material also increases,the change of wear is more complex,the change law is first to reduce,then increase and then reduce,there is no optimal value.Second,sintering pressure on the physical and mechanical properties of materials and friction and wear properties of less influence1.sintering pressure on the material density,porosity and compressive strength with the influence of the sintering pressure,the hardness has a greater impact,with the increase in sintering pressure,the hardness of the material first increased and then decreased,the sintering pressure of 3MPa,to take the maximum value.2.With the increase of sintering pressure,the friction coefficient and wear amount of the material are not changed much.3.The braking speed has a certain influence on the friction coefficient of the powder metallurgy material,which increases with the increase of the braking speed in the experimental research range.The results of comprehensive test can be concluded that the optimum sintering process is 930 Shan and sintering pressure 3MPa.
