Skew rolling technology as one of the many metal plastic forming technology, compared with other molding technology have higher productivity and efficient material utilization, high product quality and greatly reduce labor intensity of labor, etc. With the speeding up of the process of industrialization, it will be more important. Oblique roll as the main parts in the skew rolling equipment, its design and manufacturing quality directly affects the strengths and weaknesses of skew rolling equipment and rolling products. Many aspects skew rolling technology in domestic development is not mature enough, in the research and development stage.Pass as the key part of inclined roll structure, it has high variable pitch, variable edge, change the characteristics of the rib width, commonly used three-dimensional modeling software such as UG, Pro/E, SolidWorks 3 d modeling of irregular parts is difficult. This study introduced based on the three-dimensional modeling software and Matlab software modeling method, overcame the difficulty. Matlab software is a powerful formula processing capacity, fast, accurate computing power and graphical output capacity. Make up for a lack of some three-dimensional modeling software.Mm steel ball, for example, this study first of all, with the rolled piece and the initial position of inclined roll for reference to establish the space coordinate system, through the space of the coordinate system conversion principle, the oblique roll groove surface equation is deduced; Again using Matlab powerful formula to calculate the surface data and the data processing ability, laid the foundation for inclined roll precise modeling; Again based on the design parameters of inclined roll, through processing groove surface data, calculate the oblique roll in the process of modeling the auxiliary curve, the three-dimensional modeling for steel ball inclined roll; Finally simplified model assembly of rolling out after importing the Deform software, the simulation parameters, boundary conditions, such as setting finished, by running the simulation, the simulation graph is obtained, the modeling work is verified.This study through the Matlab software programming auxiliary Pro/E software completed the inclined steel ball roll of 3 d modeling, modeling after using the finite element software to simulate forming, thereby verifying the rationality of the steel ball inclined roll modeling ideas.
