The natural gas has gradually become the emphasis of the primary energy structure in recent years. Both the quantity and the quality of natural gas’s exploitation and utility in our courtry are improving year by year. Needless to describe how significant the expoitation is, as the cradle of natural gas industry. But the fact is most natural gas stations in our courtry are maintained by manual operation, which leads to low fault tolerance, high administration cost and a lack of the complete and systematic data record supporting. A lot of potential faults can hardly be detected and accumulate the safty hazards. Especially in the small station which has low reservation and scattered distribution, the dramatic difficulty of manual operation restricts the production of natural gas. Therefore, it is realistically significant to analyse and design an unattended remote monitor system for the natural gas stations accoding to the technological process.Based on the technical specifications of SCADA system and combined with more mature technologies of computer, mobile communication, database managerment and real time Web, this thesis analysed the technological process of natural gas station’s production and designed an unattended remote station monitor system, which provides a visual remote monitor for the production of stations. Additionally, this thesis adapts a design of B/S structured Web monitoring and the technology of Web GIS based on a traditional C/S structure, and dramatically improves the flexibility of utility.The system adropts the 3G/4G network as the channel of data transmission. The supervision unit consists of RTU, analog quantity expanding unit, flowmeter, webcam, and several kinds of sensors. The supervision center provides a visual operation interface in application layer for users, where deloyed with monitor computer, database server, communication server and Web server. The supervision center adroptes Baidu Maps API and Web data exchange techniques of Ajax and WebSocket to construct a more friendly man-machine interface.The resolution for unattended natural gas station monitoring suggested by this thesis realizes capabilities including real-time information display and remote control for natural gas stations, params alarming, scene picture view, data query, reports managerment, data charts display and user managerment. And it is capable to satisfy the needs of natural gas ststion production monitor.
