With natural gas operation level of industrial production gradually, demand for automated management and control more urgent, more and more natural gas well station use unattended practices, but the traditional monitoring equipment is expensive, huge volume, high operating costs and power consumption, especially in the later period of the gas well or some little gas distribution station installation, it is extremely unreasonable. This paper presents a low cost, low power consumption, easy installation and maintenance of remote monitoring terminal, it can monitoring the remote station.This paper analyzes the Southwest Oil and Gas Field SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems require unattended stations, combined with the actual needs of the project, a comprehensive application of electronic technology, microprocessor control technology, GPRS network communication technology, solar power technology is designed and implemented one kind of gas station unattended remote monitoring terminal program. As with LPC1768 controller, select MC52iR3 module as GPRS communication module, integrated AI, DI, DO, RS485/RS232 interfaces, to achieve on-site temperature, pressure, flow, etc. data collection and upload; Based on real-time operating system uCOS, modular partition function of the software system; The system uses low-power design, implement solar power demand; using infrared detectors with industrial serial cameras, implementing intrusion detection and image capture; system operating parameters can be configured adaptive monitoring terminal and scalability; at the same time to design a diagnostic panel, with remote monitoring terminal diagnosis.This paper has achieved the hardware and software design and testing, and acceptance by the project, successfully applied in the PetroChina’s unattended natural gas station. Actual operating results show that remote monitoring terminal data collection upload stable and reliable, solar power for 12 days in the rainy conditions, can still work properly, the system is designed to achieve the desired objectives.
