Deep hole processing technology is an important part of the machining industry.With the development of high-speed cutting technology, the direction of deep hole processing is tend to high-speed and high-efficiency, and a large number of chips will be produced in unit time. For the limitation of the chip space during the deep hole processing, if the chips can not be discharged in time, it will be accumulated and cause the chips blocking that will seriously affect the machining quality, work efficiency and service life of equipment. Therefore, a key issue of deep hole processing technology in research is to solve the problem of chip removal to improve the efficiency.For the problem of chip removal in the deep hole processing, there are usually three workarounds as following:1, Expand the chip space. 2, Control the chips shape. 3, Enhanced the power of chip removal. This article research and analyze the third method—enhanced the power of chip removal.Firstly, this paper introduced the important position of the deep hole processing technologies and the current research of deep hole processing and negative pressure chip pumping, and pointed out the purpose and significance, introduced the sources of the problem.In addition, several treatment methods of chips removal and common deep hole drilling systems was introduced. This paper focused on the design of a new type of negative pressure chip pumping machine, namely multi-stage curved surface negative pressure chip pumping machine, which was derived, analyzed and verified in theory. Experimental analysis was conducted by FLUENT by giving different negative pressure flow rate, comparing and analyzing the effect of negative pressure chip pumping. The theory of the changing negative pressure was research for deriving the split ratio of DF system. A machine which the flow ratechanges uniformly was designed. The machine was arranged into the oil system for changing the amount of the negative pressure passage flows into the coolant flow rate to result in pumping effect of uniform changing flow rate. To improve the design of the oil system, the overall design was completed. Finally, this paper summarized the work and made a conclusion that the multi-stage curved surface negative pressure chip pumping machine can greatly improve the vacuum suction effect. The deficiencies of this paper were also pointed out. The study has some significance and reference value for further research on the DF system of deep hole processing, and it will lay the foundation for further development of changing negative pressure in theory.
