In blade grinding process, the real-time state of grinding process is monitored by real-time detection of grinding force. And the grinding parameters are adjusted to realize active control of grinding force. That has important significance for improving grinding quality of blade surface and achieving high efficiency and precision grinding.This paper aims at the real-time measurement of high frequency dynamic grinding force during grinding process. According to the characteristics of grinding force, the three-dimensional grinding force measuring platform is designed to achieve real-time detection of the high frequency dynamic grinding force. The main research contents are divided into three parts.(1) The performance indexes of three-dimensional grinding force measurement platform are putted forward according to the high frequency characteristic of grinding force signal. In order to solve the contradiction between sensitivity and natural frequency and the problem of dimension coupling, the mechanical structure of three-dimensional grinding force measuring platform is designed based on additional elastic element method and relative independent and mutually orthogonal elastic element method. And its key performance indicators are verified by mathematics calculation and finite element simulation. Then the measurement platform is machined and assembled, and its natural frequency is verified by natural frequency test experiment.(2) According to the mechanical structure of the measurement platform, the resistance strain gauges are selected and pasted, and the bridge circuits are designed. The hardware circuits of signal conditioning and collecting are designed to complete the hardware detection system of grinding force according to output signal characteristics of measurement platform. According to the requirements of grinding force signal analysis and processing, the three-dimensional grinding force measurement software is designed to realize real-time acquisition, display, data storage and data analysis of grinding force signal.(3) The static calibration experiment is carried out on the three-dimensional grinding force measurement platform. And the calibration results show that the measurement platform has a high sensitivity, good linearity and repeatability, and small hysteresis. Therefore, the static performance indexes of the measurement platform meet the requirements of real-time detection of dynamic grinding force signal; The measurement platform’s detection precision of actual grinding force signal is verified through comparing with the standard dynamometer; The measurement platform’s detection effect of dynamic grinding force signal during the actual grinding process is verified by a series of grinding experiments which have different grinding parameters. Meanwhile the influence relation of the grinding parameters on grinding force is summarized; The grinding experiments which have optimized grinding parameters are carried out in which the removed depth and the workpiece’s surface roughness are detected after each experiment. Then the influence relation of the grinding force on grinding efficiency and grinding surface quality is summarized to guide the optimizing of grinding parameters during the blade grinding process.
