In recent years, environmental pollution events happened frequently in our country. They caused serious pollution to the atmosphere, surface water, soil and groundwater, and lead to a great threat to human health and ecological environment. Among these accidents, high strength heavy metal groundwater pollution caused by sudden leakage accident occurred frequently, and it has become one of the important sources of groundwater pollution in our country. For the emergy management, assessment of risk of groundwater pollution is necessary. And timely and reasonable pollution control measures can be made in order to minimize the spread of pollutants in the groundwater. The risk of groundwater contamination is the product of probability and consequence of the contamination.Based on sudden, uncertainty of accident scenarios and the servity of harmful consequence,in this paper, the impact of events equates to the probability component, the results of health risk assessment equates to the consequence.Heavy meatal contamination of groundwater consists three stage. The first stage is for the accidents and pollution information and hydrogeological data and some other basic information of the survey; The second is the phase of risk calculation and evaluation, the pollutants enter the groundwater are calculated by use of a simple mathematical model of real-time risk and consequences of pollution; The third stage is for on the basis of the first two stages of emergency control measures. Finally, this paper assumed a chemical plant in the hexi corridor hexavalent chromium as an example, the theory was verified. The results showed that hexavalent chromium leakage pollution accident in the case of groundwater pollution risk level was high, it should immediately take emergency measures after the accident.
