Mining locomotive is driven by Mining DC traction motor used in mine, the safety of the electric locomotive depends on the performance of mining DC traction motor. In order to validate its performance promptly and accurately, the research on loading test system of mining DC traction motor is particularly important.Combining with the requirements about performance test of mining DC traction motor in the following standards: JB/T6480.1-2013《The first part of Fundamental Technical Specifications of Rotating Motor except AC Motor powered by Electronic Convertor 》, JB/T5335-1991《Fundamental Technical Specifications of DC Motor used on Battery Vehicle》and JB/T1093-1983《Basic Test Methods of Traction Motor》, the test items and methods for mining DC traction motor have been hammered out. Comparing the feedback loading mode between AC and DC, the system plan for loading test system has been proposed.Point at system plan, the boost compensation system and measurement system have been mainly studied, and based on voltage and current closed-loop control boost compensation system has been designed. By estimating the measurement accuracy of the system, the selection of the sensor and data acquisition card was completed, and the software design of loading test system was also completed by using the Lab VIEW as the software development platform.Finally, the measurement accuracy of the voltage, current, speed and torque of the loading test system designed for Mining DC traction motor was verified, the measurement accuracy satisfied the requirement of standard. Performance test on the Mining DC traction motor with the type of XQB-22, the results show that the loading test system achieved test requirements of the standards.
