In recent years, as an easily available,plasticity,easy processing,environmentally friendly material, molded pulp has become a good alternative to plastic packaging materials.However, molded pulp products still have some problems in China, specially in its fine handling of gentrification. Improving apparent performance of molded pulp products and developing the molded pulp flocking, can increase the economic value-added products and promote molded pulp material in the promotion and application of high-grade packaging greatly.The molded pulp refinement process in this paper,include the preparation of modified rosin,cytoplasm sizing,the preparation of flocking adhesive that suitable for mold pulp and flocking in the paper mold surface to prepare thefine molded products.The main contents of this paper include:(1) Analysising the apparent performance of molded pulp products from macro and micro aspects,using the moothness and gloss as the apparent performance evaluation.According to the article surface molded fiber distribution,molding process and products application to determine the appropriate sizing of the recipe selection,thermoforming process parameters and the formula of flocking adhesive.(2)Use CS as additives, use Span 80 and Tween 60 as emulsifier to product Cationic Rosin. Study on the influence of cationic starch, Span 80, Tween 60 on dispersed rosin sizing performance.Using pulp internal sizing process to flat molded pulp samples with the sizing agent1%, molding temperature110 ℃, molding pressure 4MPa, molding time 5 minutes parameters.Test the the gloss and the apparent smoothness(the friction coefficient).The optimum formulationsis:the amount of CS is 20%,the amount of Span80 is 20%,the amount of Tween60 is 20%.(3)After the preparation of the optimum modified dispersed rosin,using gloss, smoothness and degree of sizing as evaluation to comprehensive analysis the impact of apparent property by freeness,the amount of sizing agent, hot temperatures and pressures.For molded paper samples producted byOCC ordinary paper fiber as raw material,the optimum process parameters is: pulp freeness 30°SR; sizing amount 1.5%; temperature 110 ℃; pressure 5MPa.For molded paper samples producted byKraft fiber as raw material,the optimum process parameters is: pulp freeness 25°SR; sizing amount 1.5%; temperature 110 ℃; pressure 5MPa.And the pressure impact gloss for the most; the pulp freeness impact coefficient of friction for the most.(4)Use flocking to improve the apparent of molded pulp products.According to the characteristics of molded paper products,prepare the flocking adhesive for molded pulp products by appropriately increasing the content of hard monomers and rosin. After the test, we know that the best flocking adhesive formulation is:the amount of n-butyl acrylate is 83%; the amount of methyl methacrylate is 9%; the amount of N-Methylol acrylamide is 8%; the amount of rosin is 2.5%-5%.And we also know that the best flocking parameter is: the amount of flocking adhesive is 160 g/m2;the flocking voltage is 60KV;the spacing between the plates is 10cm;the flocking time is 15 s.It’s found that,rosin can reduce the viscosity and surface tension of the acrylic flocking adhesive significantly,which is good forgumming and flocking.We can improve the fastness of flocking significantly, by increasing the content of rosinand methyl methacrylate.
