In recent years, organic selenium compound is more selenide and diselenide. Because the presence of Selenium diselenide bond, to have unique biological activity of a potential drug intermediates. In addition, diselenide in organic synthesis have a larger role, capable of electrophilic addition reaction, there are certain applications in asymmetric synthesis, can also be used as a caialyst, our group has reported organic selenium catalytic oxime dehydration nitrile formation reaction.Synthesis diselenide The classical approach is the format reagent. a Grignard reagent is prepared first. then add selenium reaction, the final oxidation diselenide, the method requires anhydrous under strict anaerobic conditions. In this paper, water/ ethanol mixed solvent, under nitrogen, is synthesized from inorganic selenium diselenide. Studies have shown that experimental operation than the traditional method is more convenient and simple.Where in the symmetrical double Schiff base compound because of its unique structure makes plays an important role in coordination chemistry. Schiff bases are symmetrical with multiple sites, easier and transition metal ions to form the corresponding complexes. Schiff base containing thiourea groups as an important Schiff base compound. has a good antibacterial, antiviral and other biological activity, gradually attracted researchers’attention. Schiff base complex part thiourea group having biomimetic catalytic properties of the enzyme and the potential medicinal value. In this paper, a series of thiosemicarbazide double Schiff base, After they were used to coordinate with metal ions (Cd2+,Mn2+,Zn2-, Ni2+,Cu2+, Pb2+). synthesized 16 compounds, Characterization methods for these compounds:X-ray diffraction, IR、UV and elemental analysis etc.
