Oil is one of the necessary resources for survival and development. However, due to the immature development of technology, uncontrolled exploitation of resources, the lack of awareness of ecological protection. Along with the process of oil exploitation, it is the serious pollution to the environment, especially the harmful metal elements pollution of the soil. These harmful metal elements, including copper, zinc, cadmium, chromium, lead and other elements, if the contents of these elements in the soil are too much, they will affect the growth of vegetation, and subtly influence on our health.thus we put forward and design a scheme to collect the data of harmful metal elements from the soil to realize the detection of harmful metal elements in the soil, in advance to prevent and protect the soil resources. The data acquisition scheme in this paper. Through the content of harmful metal elements measured by measuring devices, the analog signal is transmitted to the STC12C5A60S2 single chip microcomputer to convert the signal from analog signal into digital signal by A/D converter. After conversion, using Lab VIEW to design the host computer interface, then through the RS232 interface with the host computer by the way of serial communication, and finally in the PC can be simple and intuitive display of the measured harmful metal elements. By comparing the standard content of the soil in this area, you can know whether the soil is healthy or not.
