The macro program as an important function of the NC equipment, makes it is easier and simpler to write some manufacturing programs in comparison with ordinary methods because the macro program enable to use commands such as variable arithmetic, logical calculus and conditional transfer etc. This article mainly studied the application of manufacturability and the programming techniques in writing the macro program in the numerical controls. The research work of this thesis comprises the following contents:To introduce the trend of development and characteristic of the NC machining technology, and study the coordinate system and the determination of direction of movement to the numerical control.To study the data processing, Interpolation operation principle of the mainstream numerical control machine, and to determine the format of NC programming.According to the characteristic of NC, to analyze the feature and settlement of the tool path, the jig localization and the clamp, the establishment of work piece coordination, in the NC process tool path character, the determination of cutting tool and dosage, and the setting of technological card.To analyze the processing feature of the macro program, to study the difference with automatically generating program, and to determine the advantages and characteristic of the macro program.With the analysis of processing technics, to write the FANUC macro program, to determine the simplify and logicality of the program, to establish code applicability after Machining Simulation, and DNC interface complete program transmission then to complete processing inspection.The macro program’s knowledgebase.This paper have studied and made an use of the macro program in NC, which can contribute to train programmers are able to produce complex parts just through a few programming, therefore can save much time. The macro program reduces code-length, time for modification and inspection with better logic and order. It serves as a prominent guidance to increase business enterprise efficiency and raise labor productivity.
