Research And Development Of Automatic Chain Wheel Type License Plate Press

The rapid development of automobile industry promotes the auto parts markets. As national legal hard alloy letter plate equiped with every automobile,license plate’s quantity demand is increasing and its making equipments are greatly developed. License plate’s material is generally made by metal material and according to its ground color,it could be splited into blue,yellow,black plate and so on.The quantity demand of blue plate used by small car is the biggest due to the biggest output of small car.As the vital step of license plate work flow concerns quality and efficiency,pressing receives more and more attentions.But nowadays most domestic license plate manufacturers still use the tradional production mode of manual changing plate and mould while overall pressing by hydraulic machine.This mode leads to the low efficiency,high labor intensity and cost,and it becomes difficult to meet the requirement of modern industrial manufacture.Thus it generates enormous significance for enhancing the productivity of the license plate and the market share of the enterprise to develop an automatic license plate press.By surveying the current situation of license plate press both at home and aboard,this paper designed the automatic chain wheel type license plate press,in order to the inprovement of production efficiency and the reduction of amount of labour.According to the requirements of the cooperative manufacturers,the license plate press production capacity,the layout form and the work flow of license plate press are determined.According to the pressing technology and manufacturing flow of license plate,the design requirements of the license plate press and the overall scheme of the mechanical structure are determined.Meanwhile,the delivery device which can realize the transmisision and blanking of license plate,the chain wheel device which can realize the automatic changing of mould and the corresponding rack are designed.The pressing parameter and force of each license plate letter is analyzed and calculated through the measurememnt and formula derivation.The structures of the letter press key assembly unit are checked in both deformation and intensity based on finite element method software(ANSYS).The static analysis results of key part are acquired and they prove whether the designed license plate press meets the requirements.The control system are designed preliminarily based on PLC and upper-computer in order to coordinate the press’s components and achieve the automatic pressing.
