As the first antibiotic in the history, thiazole and its derivatives are a kind of important bioactive substances. They have many applications in multiple directions, a lot of progress in many fields. Especially thiazole groups were introduced to modify a variety of different compound for all kinds of novel structures and a series of bioactive compounds. On agriculture, pesticides, herbicides are produced; on finished medicine, diabetes drugs and antitumor drugs are commercial; on food, preservatives and antistaling agents are obtained. Thiazole and its derivatives can even be found in household lives, such as insect repellent and mouldproof. Because of thiazole has the advantages of high biological activity and low toxicity. we cannot live without them. More and more attention is added to these thiazole, thick thiazole and other aromatic ring compounds containing thiazole class.By consulting relevant literature, reference, The synthetic methods of ligands were improved.2-Methyl thiazole-4-carboxylic acid was synthesized successfully, and determined by infrared spectroscopy, NMR-H spectrum. Diffenent transition metal ions, counter anions, ratio of solvent and conditions are changed to synthesizease a seires of complexes. Five new complexes was obtained, [Mn(mtza)2(H2O)2]-(H2O)3 (1), [Co(mtza)2(H:O)2]·(H2O)3 (2), [Ni(mtza)2(H2O)2]·(H2O)3 (3), [Cu(mtza)2(H2O)]·(H2O)2 (4), [Zn(mtza)2(H2O)2]·(H2O)3 (5). By introducing auxiliary ligand(phenanthroline), five new complexes were synthesized, [Mn(mtza)2(phen)2]·(H2O)2 (6), [Co(mtza)2(phen)2]·(H2O)3 (7), [Ni(mtza):(phen)2](H2O)3 (8), [Cu(mtza)2(phen)2]-(H2O)3 (9), [Zn(mtza)2(phen)2]·(H2O)3 (10). These complexes were all determined by IR spectra, thermogravimetric analysis, elemental analysis, X-ray single crystal diffraction method.
